People from around the world visit Tunica, Mississippi in the hopes of winning it big at many of the city’s casinos. Taryn Tyler is one of those people. She recently made a trip from her home in Arkansas with her friend to Tunica to celebrate her birthday. Little did Taryn know, she would have much more to celebrate.

Taryn decided to play the Wheel of Fortune slot machine at the GoldStrike Casino. She inserted $20 to play the twenty five cent a spin game. It was not long after that Taryn hit the jackpot! Taryn commented: “I had no idea I had won the big one! The woman at the machine next to me had to tell me I had won!”

Taryn had won over $900,000 when she hit the progressive jackpot. This made her the seventh Mega Jackpot winner in Mississippi this year. Taryn said that with her winnings she was going to buy a new car and save the rest.
