Lynsey and Barry Mirehouse of Maryport in Cumbria wagered just one pound per line while playing the Clover Rollover slot game and won the large cash prize. The slot had not been hit in several months and the jackpot had grown to £1,201,233 when the couple hit it.

“I don’t know what we are doing to do with the winnings but we’re trying to keep a low profile,” Lynsey Mirehouse told the local News and Star newspaper. “The news is going to travel fast and people will find out about the win but we are trying to keep it to ourselves for now.”
