Slot Machine at Florida Casino Malfunctions
A recent visitor to one of the Seminole Tribe in Florida’s casinos thought he had hit the big time when his slot machine showed he had won a $166 million payout. But unfortunately the large win was a ‘machine malfunction’ according to the casino.

Bill Seebeck traveled to the casino and was playing a slot game. Seebeck had about $80 in the game when the jackpot alarm started to go off. On this particular machine the payout is $2,500 or less so Seebeck was shocked to see the numbers $1,666,666.65 flashing on his machine.

The incident is being referred to as a ‘machine malfunction’. Seebeck became extremely excited especially when he began to think that he had won this massive amount of cash. This would have been a large jackpot for anyone to win, but would probably have been the largest ever awarded.

Casino officials had to explain to Seebeck that the machine he was using had malfunctioned. They had to explain that the largest payout for this machine was only $2,500 so there was no way he could have won the millions of dollars in pay outs.

Seebeck mentioned to casino officials that he would bring in lawyers so the operators at the casino tried to rectify the situation. Seebeck was given an undisclosed amount of money to appease him in this situation.
